Durante la serata di gala sono stati premiati anche Denzel Washington e Morgan Freeman, il primo come miglior attore internazionale e il secondo con un award alla carriera, l’International Lifetime Achievement.

I SAG Awards, così come i Golden Globes, offrono ogni anno suggerimenti interessanti per quanto riguarda i vincitori dei prossimi Oscar. Ieri sera la Screen Actors Guild ha assegnato le sue statuette d’oro e ha segnato una tendenza decisamente interessante.

Mi riferisco alla vincita di “The Help” per la performance del suo cast, il premio più ambito della serata. E’ stata una decisione un po’ spiazziante rispetto alle aspettative, con “The Artist”, finora giudicato il favorito per gli Academy Awards, ad aggiudicarsi solo l’award per l’interpretazione dell’attore Jean Dujardin.

Decisamente meno sorprendenti le vittorie nel campo televisivo: sono ancora “Modern Family” e “Boardwalk Empire” a regnare incontrastati, rispettivamente nella commedia e nel drama.

Sono state svelate ieri le nominations per gli Academy Awards di quest’anno, cerimonia da noi meglio conosciuta come “La notte degli Oscar”.

A guadagnarsi il maggior numero di chance di vittoria sono stati “Hugo” di Martin Scorsese (11 nomination) e “The Artist (10 nomination), ma non dimentichiamo “The Descendants” (“Paradiso Amaro”) che ha già dimostrato il suo valore in occasione dei Golden Globes.

I candidati per la statuetta più ambita, quella del miglior film, sono “War Horse” di Steven Spielberg, il già citato “The Artist”, il film sul baseball “Moneyball – L’arte di vincere” con Brad Pitt, il misto tra commedia e drama di “Paradiso Amaro” con George Clooney, “Tree of Life” di Terrence Malick già vincitore della Palma d’Oro a Cannes, “Midnight in Paris” di Woody Allen, la storia di segregazione razziale di “The Help”, “Hugo” di Martin Scorsese e il film sul’11 settembre “Molto forte, incredibilmente vicino”.

Un po’ del nostro paese sarà presente alla cerimonia grazie alle chance date a tre italiani: Dante Ferretti come direttore della fotografia di “Hugo”, Francesca Lo Schiavo come set decorator per lo stesso film e Enrico Casarosa, animatore alla Pixar candidato per il cortometraggio “La Luna”.

Brad Pitt ha lasciato a casa il bastone per accompagnare Angelina Jolie alla serata dei Producers Guild Awards 2012.

La coppia ha posato per i fotografi presso il Beverly Hills Hotel, dove i due attori sono apparsi come sempre molto affiatati.

Per l’occasione mondana i Brangelina hanno scelto un look total black: lei con abito con super spacco e dettagli ricamati firmato Michael Kors, scarpe Ferragamo e gioielli Procop; per Brad invece un classico by Gucci.

Durante la serata la Jolie ha ricevuto il premio Stanley Kramer per il suo lavoro come regista nel film “In the Land of Blood and Honey”.

“Ciò che spero è che il nostro film aiuti le persone a non dimenticare il passato”, ha detto Angelina. “Voglio che vediate cosa ha patito questa gente e come queste persone riescono a raccontare la loro storia attraverso il loro coraggio. La loro storia conta.”

Ieri mattina Daniel Radcliffe ha annunciato in diretta televisiva le nominations per i prossimi BAFTA awards.

Madonna si è aggiudicata il premio come Miglior canzone originale ai Golden Globes di ieri sera e qualcuno ci dev’essere rimasto davvero male.

Mi riferisco ad Elton John e ai suoi commenti poco signorili rilasciati sul red carpet, poco prima della cerimonia, rigurdo alla possibile vittoria nella categoria in cui lui stesso era nominato per un brano di “Gnomeo e Giulietta”.

“C’è una bella concorrenza”, aveva detto il cantante. “Ma Madonna non ha una ca**o di chance.”

L’intervistatore gli ha risposto che quelle erano parole un po’ forti e lui ha risposto:

“No, sono parole vere.”

Madonna ha preferito fare la diplomatica e ha risposto semplicemente così:

“Vinca il migliore”

Purtroppo per lui Elton si è dovuto ricredere nel momento in cui sul palco è stato annunciato proprio il nome di Madonna, vincitrice per la canzone “Masterpiece” inserita nel suo film “W.E.”. Questo è il secondo Golden Globe per la cantante, già vincitrice di un globo nel 1997 come Miglior attrice per “Evita”.

Ieri sera si sono svolti i Golden Globes, cerimonia a premi che, tradizionalmente, dà un’idea su quali potranno essere i vincitori degli Oscar del prossimo mese.

E’ stato “The Descendants” ad aggiudicarsi il premio più ambito, quello di miglior film, confermandosi così come l’assoluto favorito per trionfare anche gli Academy Awards.

Il film di Alexander Payne si è indirettamente aggiudicato anche il premio di miglior attore: è proprio per la performance in questo film che George Clooney ha conquistato l’ennesima statuetta di questa fortunata stagione della sua carriera.

Per quanto riguarda le donne, invece, è Meryl Streep a vincere il premio come miglior attrice in un film drammatico per la sua interpretazione in “The Iron Lady”.

Non possiamo non menzionare “The Artist”: il film di Michel Hazanavicius ha incassato tre Golden Globes come miglior film (commedia o musical), miglior attore e miglior attrice, sempre per commedia o musical.

In questa occasione Rob ha sorpreso tutti con il suo nuovo look: i suoi famosi capelli multidirezionali hanno lasciato il posto ad una testa completamente rasata.

Durante la serata Pattinson è stato premiato dalla collega Ashley Greene per il film “Come acqua per gli elefanti”, vincitore dell’award Best Drama Movie.

“Whoa. Grazie di cuore. Non so perché hanno chiesto a me di ritirare il premio perché ci sarebbe un sacco di altra gente.”, ha detto Robert sul palco del Nokia Live Theatre. “Mentre stavo girando questo film mi divertivo così tanto che non mi importava se qualcuno l’avrebbe visto o no. Ora che la gente l’ha visto e che ci stanno anche dando dei premi sono ancora più contento di questa esperienza. Quindi grazie a tutti.”
